Tricia began Colosoul in 2007, with the idea of collaborating with as much of the media and arts scene as possible. She is passionate about community, mentorship and seeing people achieve their passions. Tricia believes dedication and perseverance to anything you are really passionate about will drive a mountain out of the way if it has to.

Venus d’Scarlett – Director/Events Coordinator

Venus joined Colosoul in 2011 as the event director and took on the role of director at the end of 2012. She is currently studying event management and human resources. Venus is passionate about the arts and is a humanitarian at heart. Colosoul allows her to combine these two passions. [more]

Lilian Yeow – Creative Director

Lilian Yeow is a graphic designer and the current creative director of Colosoul. A free spirit with a penchant for design, street art and dirty hip hop, she recently graduated from the University of Western Australia with a BA in Communication/Cultural Studies.

Kylie de Vos – Wordplay Magazine Editor

Is it a cliché that Kylie loves everything street – the clothes, music and art? Definitely, but she wouldn’t have it any other way. Starting as a writer for Wordplay, she’s recently become the editor. She is obsessed with The Alchemist

Anthony Pyle – Teensoul Editor & Books Editor

Anthony is the editor of Teensoul magazine, where he manages content for digital and print publications. Anthony also has a great passion for literature and writing, and has recently graduated from Curtin University with a BA in Creative and Professional Writing and Publishing. Recently, he has taken up the mantle of books editor for Colosoul. [more]

Nathanael Rice – Music Editor

Nathanael loves music, which is handy as he is the music editor. When asked to choose a favourite band, The Weird Sisters was his response, although he does cite experimental/ gospel/ tropical as his favourite genre. He is inspired by King Julien, Tom Riddle, Dr Leo Spaceman, Gene Parmesen and Kristofferson Silverfox, whom he describes as ‘the perfect specimen of fox.’ [more]

Annie Blatchford – Theatre Editor

From sitting through five hours of Japanese Kabuki, performing with a Glaswegian theatre group, to queuing for a day in New York for musical tickets – Annie Blatchford is not ashamed to admit to being a true theatre geek. While on the verge of graduating from Law/Arts at UWA, she is more importantly and enthusiastically, Colosoul’s theatre editor. [more]

Ariel Gardiner – Social Issues Editor

Raised and educated in Northern California, Ariel Gardiner is a Certified Public Accountant who has recently rediscovered his proclivity toward writing and things that actually matter. He joined social issues in October 2012, just after making the move to Perth, and is now also involved with the production of Colosoul TV. [more]

Alastair Ingram – Movies Editor

Alastair has worked with Colosoul since 2011 as a film and music journalist. At the end of 2012 he assumed the role of Movies Editor. With a keen interest in the film industry at a local and national level, Alastair is very keen to work with and help promote all films at any stage of the production process. [more]
